July 2017:  Fort Mill School Supply Drive

We are proud that 75 students in Fort Mill will start the school year with a new backpack. This is thanks to a partnership between Allies for All, Indivisible SC5, and Democrats Care. Together, we raised $1300 and bought more school supplies than we care to count–we’ll leave the math to the students.

Thanks to all of our members for their generous donations. If you’re looking to help out with future school supply drives, contact the Foundation for Fort Mill Schools.

May 2017: Allies for All Stocks a Shelter’s Playroom

Safe Passages is a domestic violence shelter that helps women and children in York County. Due to the vital work they do for families in our community, we wanted a chance to help them. When the shelter told us that their playroom was low on toys, our members responded by donating 3 car loads full of legos, dolls, trucks, board games, and toddler toys. We hope the kids enjoy them!

If you are a victim of domestic abuse or sexual trauma, Safe Passage maintains a 24-hour crisis line. You can reach them at 803-329-2800.
